Toes

If on her back Tova has been known to put her foot, especially her big toe, into her mouth and suck it just like her thumb.  It's pretty hilarious.  Today when I picked her up from school I got a funny daily report from her teachers. Turns out Tova is the only one crawling so far (sorry had to brag).  Well our little lady will crawl over to one of her buddies and suck on their toes too, and since they can't crawl away she has the upper hand!  Have I said this kiddo is going to be a handful?!?

Pretty School

Every once in a while I post Deven's daily from school.  I'm sure this will be really embarrassing later in life, I mean, who wants the world to know what time they went to the bathroom when they were almost three.  So I will keep this short and sweet...Deven has not gone to the bathroom in his diaper since Sunday and that includes at school.  This is his daily from today.  Nick and I are happy happy parents!! 

Cross your fingers that this will last.

You will notice in the comments at the bottom that Deven says that he is now ready for 'pretty school' (preschool).  :)

Snow White

Deven loved the Nutcracker so much that I've been looking for another ballet that would be appropriate to bring an almost three year to ever since.  Appropriate, in this case, is defined as one that the audience and perhaps even the dancers don't mind if they hear him talking through the entire show.  PNB thankfully puts on a couple kiddo ballets to show case their school and this spring it was the story of Snow White.  The advertisement came in the mail earlier this month and solidified my decision to try to take him.  He was really excited to see the "step-ed wick momma" (wicked stepmother) who was lurking in the tree shows on the advert.
Needless to say it was a big hit and Deven was true to form by asking questions or commenting through out the entire hour long production (this is him prepping for the show with his theater binoculars).  For instances, one question asked was, "what's in that girl ballet'ers hair?"  The answer was, "orange butterflies because they were fairy god mothers."
Which brings me to the inclusion of Deven daily to this post.  As I have posted in the past Deven has a vibrant imagination, to say the least.  His stories always have elements of reality or fact or of his recent experiences.  Lately Deven has been learning that nick and I are married...Disney movies may be contributing to this realization...so it appears that he is taking these thoughts to school.  He also knows you need a tangible "something" to get married.  This can be rings, a bracelet, or in today's example an orange butterfly, Snow White style.  I appreciate his neutral view that both he and Bryn need to wear the butterfly in order to be married.  He does have some work to do on the naming of said butterflies though!!
Always entertaining to see what this crazy kid has done or said all day when we are away!! :)
