Two Week Checkup

We had our two week check up this week...Mom and Deven sans papa...a big win!! As you will notice the doctor confirmed that D has met and surpassed his birth weight. In addition, since he was born he has grown another 1/2 inch in length and another inch in head circumference. The doctor says Deven is right on track and he currently has no concerns so we went home happy and looking forward to the next two month check up!!

Awake Time...Limited

Deven usually stays awake anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour...here is some of that time captured.

First trip!

Though our first trip is less than glamorous Nick and I are proud to say that it looks like we will be on time for Deven's first doc appt! We are all doing great thanks to my sister providing a nice transition from having a team of help to just nick and myself!! Thanks for the help Jay!!

Happy Place

Deven had a big day yesterday. He got his circumcision surgery done and was rightfully unhappy about it most of the day!! To cheer Mr. Dev up his Grandparents were back to check-in, Great Nana and Bubba Bodle had a chance for photo shoots (to post later) and some of our besties Ry and Erin stopped by for a visit.

For this morning's "awake time" we started preparing for check-out time later this evening. It isn't for sure, but we are hoping to get back home to Mr. Sam tonight (thanks Jaymie for house/dog sitting). Deven has found one more of his happy places in his new car seat which is part of the "travel system" (yes i said travel system) that my awesome partner group at JJCo got for Deven! Along with new born clothing and diapers that our guy wont fit into, Nick had to adjust the belt to allow for our big but happy boy!!
