Up Close and Personal

This one is a little hard to see but if you find the nose, and you see four white dots...that is the babies hand...s/he is sucking his/her thumb!!

This is the babies profile. My friend Codie came with me to get these pics...we braved the impending snow storm to get them but it was worth it!! We saw LJ's little hands flying around and the nurse said the heart beat was between 157 and 160 beats per minute. Say what you will about the heart beats giving clues about the sex. I have heard this number means a boy and I have heard that it means a girl. I personally have no clue!! ; ) We had all the first trimester testing done and results should be back in a week or so!

It was insane! The doctor was able to find the baby right away and Nick and I both immediately noticed the little heart racing away. It was official, there was actually a little person growing inside of me. I think Nick and I walked away a little in shock!

New York 2008

This is Nick and me on our way from Staten Island to Manhattan via ferry. Nick was training for work and I was taking one last free flight before moving on from Alaska Airlines. Our travels I hope are far from over but this is the last one before we had a little something else on our minds.
