Sneak peak of Deven's day

This is a picture of part of Deven's daily report from school today.  This is a typical conversation we will have with Deven on a minute by minute basis.  It's good we aren't the only ones who get his nutty side!  Megan is his teacher.

Follow-up

So we jumped in to the truck for Deven's first gene juarez hair cut - after his last choppy fiasco I could do nothing less.  We also used our trip to the mall to get Deven a proper helmet.  Just try and tell me he's not one of the best looking kids you've seen in while, I dare you!!

Mountain biking

Nick mounted Deven's seat on his mountain bike today and they went for a test ride up and down our hill a couple times.  Next stop REI for a kiddo helmet, though Deven seems to have found a temporary solution!!

2 year check up

Deven had his 2-year check up today and did great and shots didn't phase him!  Per the doc:

Weight - 45%
Height - 95%

I think he might have a small head though, I found a calculator that said 19 inches was about 37%...who knows.  Either way the doc says he is healthy and and I seem to be keeping him alive, all good things!!

Sky Diving

OK, so I just realized I never wrote a blog about Nick's sky diving adventure. This adventure was delayed about a year due to our wonderful NW weather and the gang's busy lives. They made it though on June 5th. Deven and I didn't end up making it because it was right during nap time. There was a chance that their jump would have been later in the afternoon but with the good weather they were up almost immediately. Thank goodness one of the wives was able to get these pics of Nick's big adventure!!!

Sunny Seattle

We decided we had to get out and use the weather to the best of our ability just in case this was a one time thing so we chose one of our favorite spots, the Seattle pike place market.  We started with piroshky pastry and le panier coffee then we took Deven on his first public bus down to the epic toy store in pioneer square finishing up with a walk down post alley.  A perfect sunny day spent!!
