Birthday boy - more oics

Couldn't leave these ones out.  It really was a blast!! Dev got his new hockey gear just in time for his skating practice.  We literally went straight from the party to practice.  Always on our way to somewhere.  That's the way we roll. 󾓦

Birthday boy, deven is FIVE!

We decided that having a party at the house this year just wasn't in the cards.  A bouncy house warehouse (jump rattle and roll) where they take care of just about everything sounded way better.  The menu wasn't as creative as we normally are but pizza, Oreos and strawberries sound pretty darn good.  I'm pretty sure all the kiddos and many of the grown ups had a blast!  I even was able to talk to almost every guest for more that the usual 15 seconds.  We may need to make this the new normal!!

World Cup Mania!

Tova calls soccer foot ball now.  And we also found a bar that allows kiddos.  Only in Everett!!  It was great to watch the US get so far along this year.  We watch a lot of sports in our house; it's a lot of fun!!

Year end performance

Deven had his year end performance in June.  There were ups and downs in the listening department this year but overall way better than last year and he loves performing.  Here are a few pics from the event.  He totally killed it!!

Portraits

Nick was practicing with his new phone camera and editing features.  It helps when you adorable subjects!!

Last day of school

First day last day. Oh my goodnes.  I hope I remember to do this every year!

New phones!

Ok why am I posting about new phones? Well it is just that huge.
Nick and I gave it an honest go. I am positive my phone was almost three years old.  Basically it comes down to data.  We use a TON of it.  Nick and I work at government offices that don't allow WiFi connection.  Therefore.  Data use.  All plans are going away from unlimited data unless you get your phones out right.  No bueno or dinero.  so we held off as long as possible.
But when we went to a festival without the kids and realized that because both our phones died or crapped out there was no way to reach us.  The kiddos could have been at the hospital...we wouldn't know.  So after we ensured there safety in the morning we went straight to the nearest Verizon store and bit the bullet.  These are our first pictures of the kiddos posing in grandma and grandpa Johnston's garden.  Safe.  Not at the hospital!
If your wondering where the rest of May and June activities went...I have to retrace my steps from my main computer when it gets back from its trip on...OUR new sail boat!
I know. I know what you're thinking.  New phones...a boat.  No, we aren't spending our cut from the Lake Steven's maffia.  Read about it here!!
